Request a visit

Tell us the job. We'll call back with questions, then a written price.

This form is for work that can wait a few hours: water heater replacement in Seattle, a sluggish main line, leak repair behind a wall you've noticed staining, a boiler due for service. Nothing is booked or charged by sending it. We read it, we call, and nobody drives until the basis for the visit is agreed.

Put a name down so we know who we're calling.

We need a phone number we can reach you on.

That email doesn't look right. Check it.

Street and number, plus unit if there is one.

Give us the job address, street and number.

Size, fuel, age, make. Whatever you can read without moving anything.

No payment is taken here. Any price you get is in writing after we've looked, and nothing is binding until you agree it.

Water running right now?

Skip the form. A split braided supply line under a sink puts out several gallons a minute, and a ceiling holds water for less time than you'd think before it comes down.

  1. 1 Shut the main

Front foundation wall, a basement wall where the line enters, or a box at the curb. Turn the handle clockwise until it stops. A quarter-turn lever goes across the pipe.

  2. 2 Power or gas off at the heater

If the tank is the leak, flip its breaker, or set a gas valve to pilot. An empty tank with the element on burns the element out.

  3. 3 Call us

We'll talk you through anything you couldn't find, agree the dispatch basis with you, and send the van. 206-745-7570

After you get in touch

What happens next, and in what order.

The full method is on how we work. The jobs themselves, with spec tables, are on services.

Will you give me a price on the phone?

We'll tell you what the price depends on and what similar jobs involved. A fixed number comes after someone has looked, because a tank swap with a 3/4-inch gas line already in place is a very different job from one that needs new venting and a new line. Once we've looked, you get the fixed price in writing.

How soon can someone get to me?

Emergencies go first and scheduled work is booked around them. We won't promise a time in minutes. You'll get an honest estimate when you call, and a call from us if it slips.

Do you work outside West Seattle?

We're a plumber in West Seattle and we work across Seattle. If your address is further out, ask. We'll say yes or no straight away rather than take the job and turn up late.

What happens to the details I send?

They go to our inbox so we can call you about the job, and nowhere else for marketing. Inquiries are kept for 24 months. The privacy notice lists who handles them, and data requests explains how to get them deleted.
